Leadership Statement:

A leader is someone who inspires, builds others up and helps them exceed their goals.  I have always felt that a true leader is not judged by their achieved accomplishments or accolades but by the individuals they inspire. The best example of true leaders are teachers, as they are charged with the greatest responsibility - inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.

In witnessing my students' growth into the next generation of artistic leaders, I am finally able to understand and see the fruition of my own leadership role as a teacher. It is the greatest responsibility that I hold and will continue to nourish and strengthen in the future.
